Ceiling/shelf protection

Information on the basic data for calculating the ceiling or shelf guard for the cover sheet (not relevant to calculation but for information purposes)

The shelf guard provides 4 rows for entering values for e.g. 1 ceiling of max. 4 shelves. 

• Storage height in m:

Specify storage height on the shelf.

• Minimum discharge density, e.g. 5mm/min at OH3

According to the specification of the fire hazard class.

• Specify the real actual design area in m², e.g. OH3, 216m² at wet system

According to the specification of the fire hazard class.

• Maximum coverage area / Sprinkler in active area m² 

According to the specification of the fire hazard class.

• Number of sprinklers / design area

Number of sprinklers within the specified design area in the architecture.

• Number of additional sprinklers / design area

Number of object protection sprinklers within the specified design area in the architecture.

• Number of sprinklers taken into the account hydraulically

Final number of object protection sprinklers within the defined design area in the architecture.

Check whether some can be omitted according to the regulations.

• Number of protected levels

Number of levels (areas/floors) protected by the sprinkler system

• Maximum sprinkler spacing in m

Indication of the largest sprinkler spacing within the design area
