Error messages can appear as dialog or are directly marked with an error number.

First a syntax check of the entered data is performed.

In this example, a connection to the distribution line V2 was specified on string pipe R2 without a distribution line V2 existing.

If the syntax check is successful, the data is prepared for the calculation.

Error while determining the relative heights :

There is an error when specifying the geodetic heights. The error is due to an isolated subnetwork that has no connection to the feed-in point.

103

Connection from F1 to R1 missing :

There is a connection from the line pipe R1 to the down pipe F1. But the connection from F1 to R1 is missing.

But both connections must be entered. This means that the error can be either in the line pipe R1 or in the downpipe F1.

After the conversion the actual calculation is done.

1-4

There is an error in the calculation.

There is an internal error in the calculation.

Possible error sources are :

  • The worst sprinkler selected is not in the effective area.
  • The C-value of a pipe is very small
  • More than one feeding point was entered.

6

Negative pressure of ... in nodes ... :

The feed pressure is too low.

7

Node...is never an end node

Internal error

8

Number of unknowns is not equal to number of nodes

This error can occur, for example, if the most unfavourable sprinkler which is selected, is not in the selected operation area.

9

The calculation of the mesh does not converge! Maximum inaccuracy... :

The pressure specification at the feeding point is too low.

This error also occurs if the point "Calculation of the most unfavourable sprinkler" is selected as the mode of operation, but no sufficient initial pressure is specified.

The pressure is needed here to determine the most unfavourable sprinkler.

It is usually also an indication that the system needs to be revised with regard to the dimensioning of the piping.
