Function: Conversion of equivalent lengths of fittings into K-factors/Kv values for calculations using variable viscosity (see SpriCAD manual)


For calculations using variable viscosity, the fittings and components must be included in the calculation along with their K-factors/Kv values (power-law model).

Existing equivalent lengths of the components can be converted at the click of a button.

When the “Variable Viscosity” calculation method is selected in SpriCAD and the setting "Model pressure losses of fittings and valves using: Pressure loss coefficient", the default input settings in the symbol window automatically changes. (see SpriCAD manual)
