At each node where two pipes meet, an elbow or a tee is created. 

F. ex. if two pipes form a right angle (with a deviation of up to 10 degrees being tolerated) an elbow is created.. 


If the DN values of both pipe diameters are less than or equal to 50, an elbow is created, otherwise an elbow welded is created. 


In nodes where a pump is located, no fitting is created by default (this can be changed with the parameter BogenAnPumpe in block Parameterblock ALLGEM of the pa­ra­me­ter file. Switch-it on or -off (F=off; T=on).).



The elbow is assigned to the pipe with the smaller diameter.

If both diameters are equal, the elbow is given (randomly) to one of the two pipes.
