At every junction where two pipes meet, an elbow or a T-fitting is generated if the two pipes form a right angle (with a tolerance of up to 10 degrees).

If the DN values of both pipe diameters are less than or equal to 50, an elbow is generated; otherwise, a elbow threaded is generated. (Default setting)

This can also be influenced via the sprinkintl.cfg parameter file by setting a different DN value, e.g., to use elbows threaded only up to DN25. (See SpriCAD Manual)

Note: Parameter descriptions are not translated and apply to all languages. Keywords are also taken from the German language.

Translation of this parameter: "Create a elbow threaded if the diameter of both pipes is less than or equal to “Winkel_bis_DN”; otherwise, create an elbow" -> Changing the DN value if desired.

ALLGEM

By default, no elbow or elbow threaded is generated at nodes where a pump is located (this can be enabled or disabled using the BogenAnPumpe parameter in the ALLGEM parameter block of the parameter file sprinkintl.cfg (F=off; T=on)).

The elbow/angle is assigned to the pipe with the smaller diameter.

If both diameters are the same, the elbow/elbow threaded is assigned (randomly) to one of the two pipes.
