Activation Link

Execute the activation link supplied by IDAT, e.g. by email, on the local computer or network server.

Keep your activation link in a safe place.

In the event of a computer move, return the licence beforehand using the "Re-Host" function and then reactivate it on the new computer with the activation link to a new

CmContainer.

The local computer or the network server must be connected to the Internet.

Note: If this is not possible, the activation link must be executed on a computer that is connected to the Internet. Only in this case, only "file-based license transfer" is possible.

Computer or network server connected to the Internet: 

Execute the activation link in an Internet browser, e.g. Microsoft Edge.

The following window appears:

CMDongle: Licence will be activated on an already connected CodeMeter dongle from WIBU Systems

CMActLicense: License is activated directly on the computer/ network server and is then connected to the computer/ network server (standard)

Without CmDongle:

E.g. as below container with the number 130-1743594719.

- Click on "Activate Selected Licenses Now" (standard) or choose "File-based license" transfer (look chapter File-based license transfer)

- Click on "OK" - license transfer is complete! - The license is now linked to the computer or network server!
